Volunteering

Volunteering at Gold Sure Start

Volunteering has been defined as “the commitment of time and energy for the benefit of the community, freely given and undertaken without concern for financial gain.”
Make a Difference: An Outline Volunteering Strategy for the UK (1995)

At Gold Sure Start, volunteers play a vital role in supporting our work and strengthening our community. We offer a range of volunteering opportunities across the organisation, including:

  • Crèche Support
  • Administrative Support
  • 2-Year-Old Programme
  • Breastfeeding Peer Support

We recognise, value, and appreciate the unique skills, experience, and dedication that each volunteer brings to Gold.

Our Volunteer Coordinator is responsible for supporting, developing, and managing volunteers across our projects, ensuring that every volunteer feels welcomed, supported, and valued.
