Gold Sure Start offers access to a Respite Childminding Scheme through our Childminding Network. This service provides families with short-term, quality assured child care delivered by registered childminders, giving parents a temporary break when they need extra support.

Our Childminding Coordinator works closely with local childminders to determine availability for respite places and ensure the service is safe, reliable and responsive to family needs.

 What Is Respite Childminding?

Respite Childminding provides short-term, planned childcare for families who may be:

• Attending important appointments
